Tiramisu

I'm pretty sure that eversince I knew that I was coming to Italy, I knew that I wanted to cook good and eat well. One of the first thing that connected with Italian food was the dessert which I actually had never had, but only tasted in other things like Kalev's chocolate or in gelato - Tiramisu translated as "pick me up". I wanted to do it and do it right. And suddenly I got the reason to do it after a youngman flew into my room saying, that guess what, we're going to a lunch on Sunday and by the way - you're making Tiramisu. I sweared in my mind something about me and my big mouth, but well if I allready wanted to do it, so why not. And well when it got ready, Tiramisu rose up to its name with careless playfulness and flew me to the 7th heaven in seconds.
For me Tiramisu reminds:
Late Sunday morning coffee with oven-fresh cookies...
Smell of fresh cocoa powder
The character of a self-pleased cat while purring ("una volta, quaondo una gatta faceva fusa")...
